Canada Post Strike: What You Need to Know About Your Contribution Payments

Due to the Canada Post strike, mail delivery and processing may be delayed, which could affect the reception of your contribution payments. To ensure the continuity of your payments, we encourage you to use one of the following methods:

  1. Payment in person at our offices

Present yourself at our offices or send a courier (address: 509 Bélanger Street, Montreal, QC H2S 1G5) to complete the transaction (by credit card, debit card, cash, or to leave your payment by cheque).

  1. Online payment through your financial institution
  • Log in to your online banking service.
  • Add CPA Montréal as a new supplier.
  • Enter your folio number / user ID, composed of 8 digits without hyphen, as the reference number.
  • Complete the payment directly from your account.

  1. Electronic bank transfer

If you prefer this method, please contact us to obtain a void cheque specimen.

  1. Telephone payment by credit card
  • Call 514-288-3003 and ask for the Monthly Reports Service, so that a staff member can verify the accuracy of the amount or check for any debits/credits on your account.
  • Then provide your credit card details along with the payment amount.
  • An official receipt will be sent to you by email once the payment has been processed.

We strongly recommend using one of these methods to avoid any delays caused by postal services. The government has expressed its intention to reduce mail delivery, which further underlines the importance of using these alternative solutions.
