The EV skill program aims to offer a structured training path and recognized certification in the maintenance and repair of electric and hybrid vehicles to workers in the industry throughout Quebec.<\/p>\n

This program is offered to auto mechanics apprentices and mechanics employed in the auto service industry in Quebec.<\/p>\n

Wage subsidies are available for these trainings!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In this program, the applicants’ salaries up to a maximum of $ 21.25$\/hour in mecanic and 25.00$\/hour in bodywork. Training manuals and high-voltage gloves are also free of charge to the candidate.<\/p>\n

Only minimal registration fees are payable by the employer. Registration fees vary depending on the level obtained.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1630676993212{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]SELF-ASSESSMENT, THE STARTING POINT<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Self-assessment is a tool that identifies the candidate’s level of knowledge in electricity. Different questions\/scenarios are asked.<\/p>\n

The candidate has the choice between one or more answers. First, the questions relate to basic electricity. After passing this level, the questions focus on intermediate electricity, up to the level of advanced electric vehicles.<\/p>\n

Your time is limited on each level of the self-assessment.<\/p>\n

????\u00a0Allow up to 3:30 a.m. to answer questions.<\/p>\n

An agreement has been made with Hydro \u2010 Qu\u00e9bec (the Electric Circuit<\/a><\/strong>) to make this information available also on the map showing the location of the charging stations.<\/p>\n

You must qualify as an industrial worker, primarily as an apprentice or auto mechanic.<\/p>\n

  2. Have in hand the official name of your company<\/li>\n
  3. Complete the online self-assessment<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Talk to your employer (the employer will register)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
