BASIC REQUIREMENTS<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Be at least 16 years old.<\/li>\n
  • Have a social insurance number.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    I HAVE AN SSVD OR AN AVS<\/h4>\n

    A diploma or a letter of accomplishment (with the school\u2019s seal).<\/p>\n

    = I will get an apprenticeship card!<\/strong><\/p>\n

    I HAVE A CARD FROM ANOTHER CPA<\/h4>\n

    CPA competency card for my trade.<\/p>\n

    = I will get my equivalent CPA Montreal competency card!<\/strong><\/p>\n

    I DON\u2019T HAVE AN SSVD<\/h4>\n

    I have a letter from my employer (on paper with the official letterhead) indicating: name, trade, the date I was hired and the employer\u2019s signature.<\/p>\n

    = I will get an apprenticeship card!<\/strong><\/p>\n

    I STARTED WORKING IN AN ESTABLISMENT GOVERNED BY THE CPA<\/strong><\/p>\n

    After the first declaration of your trade in an establishment governed by the Decree respecting the automobile services industry in the Montreal region, you will obtain your 1st year apprentice card automatically, as it will appear in our monthly report and we will mail your new card to your address.<\/p>\n

    = I will get an apprenticeship card!<\/strong><\/p>\n

    I HAVE PROOF OF EXPERIENCE AND A LETTER OF JOB OFFER<\/h4>\n

    This proof must include official identification of the company (letterhead, seal or stamp), the employee\u2019s name, the trade practised, the period of employment and number of hours worked, and the employer\u2019s signature.<\/p>\n

    Il the proof is in language other than French or English, I have a certified translation of it.<\/p>\n
